On May 22, 2020, I helped a 91-year-old client from Whiting, Indiana. She sent me a bill that she got from a medical firm that wanted her to pay $607.83.
I checked with her insurance company. Medicare never sent the claim information to it. The insurance company could not pay a bill that Medicare never sent to it.
I wrote a letter to the medical service and explained this. I told the medical service what to do to get the critical bill information to the client’s insurance company. I am confident that once the insurance company gets that information, the bill will be resolved.
All the help that I gave the client from Illinois was FREE OF CHARGE. This insurance agency is proud of our reputation for “going the extra mile” to help our clients with Medicare related medical bills. If your insurance agent or agency does not give this high level of customer service, why not switch to an insurance agency that does? Ours does.
